What work should entrepreneurs hand over to AI?
Artificial intelligence has quickly grown from a helpful tool into something entrepreneurs use to handle work from many different professions. Alex Genadinik says he’s used it to handle tasks from 10 different roles, though he encourages newcomers to begin with small, everyday uses.
Genadinik, an instructor for Udemy, teaches AI to students across the world and encourages them to embrace these tools rather than shy away from them.
“For someone completely new to AI, the first part of the process is to gain an appreciation for AI instead of harboring skepticism,” he said in an interview with EIN Presswire. “So I recommend asking questions you’ve always wondered about. You’ll be surprised by the depth of the answers you’ve been carrying for maybe decades that get quickly resolved.”
Genadinik added: “Once people get an appreciation for AI, ask it questions about your work, especially the planning of tasks and solving problems.“
The Ukraine native also teaches other courses on entrepreneurship and digital marketing, known for accumulating more than a million Udemy students enrolled in one of his online courses since he started teaching in 2014. Udemy is an online learning platform where instructors teach video‑based courses to students around the world.
He is no stranger to the intricate world of designing apps and computer programming.
Genadinik said he started his career working as a Java software engineer for startup companies. In his spare time, he would play around with mobile app development, and actually taught himself how to build one.
Today, Genadinik coaches thousands of entrepreneurs on how to make profits through informative YouTube videos on his popular channel as well as through online classes. His students, he said, also appreciate how he keeps his courses up to date based on the latest industry trends and best practices in business.
Aside from his online business, Genadinik also runs SPRK Token, a crowdfunding project that helps creators raise money for their work while keeping more of what they earn. The platform uses blockchain tools to reduce fees and offer extra financial benefits for people funding creative projects.
In his interview, he talks about teaching himself app development on the side, why drive and resilience matter in marketing and he gives a simple breakdown of how SPRK can benefit creators.
Q: Tell us a bit about your path. What were you doing early on, and how did that lead to what you’re building today?
A: I started as a Java software engineer working for start-ups from 9-5, and tinkering with my own business ventures before work, after work, and on weekends. Around the year 2010, the mobile app world was becoming popular, and I taught myself Android programming (it was largely in Java). I just wanted to build an app so I could put that on my resume, but it grew fast and ended up becoming my main business. It was an app that helped people create business plans, and I started making videos that addressed some of the common pitfalls, and that led me to YouTube, and eventually creating online courses, which I am still doing.
Q: You have taught digital marketing for years. What is one core skill beginners should focus on first if they want to get better at promoting their work online?
The main skill is incredible drive. With that, you can accomplish anything, and without that, all half-efforts tend to fall short in the world of marketing. The other skill is resilience and problem-solving. There are always challenges, and even for very experienced marketers, many promotional attempts don’t work. In reality, marketing success takes a lot of resilience over time to work.
Q: For someone new to AI tools, what is one way they can start using AI to improve their work or daily productivity?
A: For someone completely new to AI, the first part of the process is to gain an appreciation for AI instead of harboring skepticism. So I recommend asking questions you’ve always wondered about. You’ll be surprised by the depth of the answers you’ve been carrying for maybe decades that get quickly resolved. Once people get an appreciation for AI, ask it questions about your work, especially the planning of tasks and solving problems. People are often surprised at how well AI is able to suggest better options and alternatives. Just be sure to give AI enough context about your situation. It’s smart, but it’s not a mind reader. After that, the natural next steps will be improving images (professional and personal ones), creating videos, and even working on your business ideas through vibe coding which is where the AI writes code and creates websites and apps for you. Q: If someone is taking your online courses for the first time, what kinds of skills should they expect to walk away with, whether they are learning productivity, SEO, or AI?
A: My courses range in topics from AI to entrepreneurship to digital marketing to professional productivity and communication. I’ve been teaching online since 2014, and have accumulated a large library of courses. Here is a page with discounts to a number of my different courses.
The most popular skills today have to do with AI because they lead to well-paying jobs and increased productivity for online entrepreneurs. You can truly accomplish an amazing amount more with AI. For example, here is a video of me showing how I am able to do the work of 10 different professionals by myself.
Q: You have taught for more than a decade and coached many entrepreneurs. What do you think students appreciate most about the way you teach and support them online?
A: As an instructor, I never stop learning and evolving myself, and improving the courses through that. I believe that a teacher should love learning and should themselves be a lifelong learner. And students appreciate that. I get many messages thanking me for keeping my course updates, even ones published in 2014 are updated with the latest information on those topics. Many students also appreciate that I teach beyond just how to make money, but about deeper enrichment and growing the student’s inner life so they grow more than just as a student, but as a well-rounded individual.
Q: For people who’ve never heard of crowdfunding or blockchain, how would you explain what SPRK Token actually does for creators?
A: The SPRK Token project is a way to raise money for creative projects through crowdfunding that helps creators raising money to keep 10-20% more of their raised funds by removing fees and using advanced financial tools to make the money they raise go a long way.
For example, when people raise money on Patreon, GoFundMe, or Kickstarter, they must pay 5-12% commission to get their money out. And that’s just to get the money out.
Q: If someone is launching their very first project on SPRK, what’s a fun or unexpected way they could use the platform that people might not think about yet?
A: The SPRK Token offers 7% staking rewards. For people not familiar with staking, think of it as a bank CD. US bank CDs currently offer 3-4% but SPRK offers a generous 7%. That money comes from a reserve for early investors as a way to give back.
The 4% from a bank CD simply covers inflation which tends to be around that same rate. But the SPRK token staking can actually become profitable passive income. Here is a page to learn more about the SPRK staking: https://www.sprktoken.com/staking
This is available for all SPRK investors and people raising money with SPRK. So for people raising money with SPRK, they not only avoid the platform fees, but can earn 7% extra from the money they raise.
