Provided by AGPVANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. (TSX-V: DMGI) (OTCQB: DMGGF) (FRANKFURT: 6AX) ("DMG" or the "Company"), a vertically integrated blockchain and data center technology company, today announces April operational results.
DMG April 2026 Preliminary Operational Results
At the end of March, DMG held 389 bitcoin, as the Company liquidated bitcoin to fund operations and capital expenses.
Energy Update
Although bitcoin pricing is showing some relief recently, DMG’s ability to access wholesale power markets for its Christina Lake operations has allowed it to benefit from the low price of Mid-Columbian Basin power, which has generally been in the range of 3.5 to 5.0 cents Canadian per kilowatt-hour delivered to DMG’s substation over the past few months. Although wholesale power pricing can fluctuate significantly, generally for DMG, this has had a net positive effect.
DMG’s CEO Sheldon Bennett commented, “Having worked closely with our utility and its regulator over the past several years, DMG is now able to participate in a rate class that mimics access to wholesale power. This has proven to be valuable during bitcoin's lower priced months, as our power price has been very favorable during these strained times.”
